World of Warcraft Upgrade Item Guide
The Upgrade item is a special evolution item that trainers can use to evolve Porygon into Porygon2. This transformation requires an upgrade and a Sinnoh Stone, and 50 Porygon Candy.

Upgrade components
Upgrade components are items that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give an added benefit or additional effect while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from players or vendors, scavenged or gotten as rewards, or made by crafting materials. In addition to providing bonus attributes upgrades can also be cosmetically beneficial.
Upgrade components can include inscriptions, enhancements, and infusions. They are generally not available for general use and are only available to ascended equipment or some non-ascended weapons from the Factions campaign. Infusions, inscriptions, as well as enrichments can be extracted from equipment by using an Infusion Extraction Device or salvaged with a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool.
Unlike other upgrade items Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items, can be traded even while still attached to the item they are upgrading, and can be reused after being reclaimed. These upgrade items can be used to boost weapon and armor quality without the expense of Dilithium. They can double the chances that the item will receive a quality upgrade.
A component that is upgraded in an item may be replaced with another, but doing so destroys the previous one (except for upgrades to legendaries and equipment with ascended levels). Only upgraded items that have an identification level of 0 or higher can have upgrade components added to them. When you upgrade a weapon that is already equipped with a prefix or suffix upgrade will display the name of the upgraded item in the same way as it appears in the game (for instance, adding the Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be named Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can only own three upgrade items at one time.
Glyphs
Glyphs are an excellent accessory to any item since they provide many unique benefits and boosts. Certain glyphs can increase the number of affixes that can be placed on an item, increasing its overall power. These glyphs are acquired through the completion of Dungeons. Some are even located in specific World Tier 3 zones. It's important to remember that glyphs can't be used on a character who has not created a root dungeon with the same depth.
To use a Glyph, you must first create it using components and connect them with anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you don't want to create the glyph from components, you can create it by using a combination of paths and anchors. Drag an element in the direction of an element highlighted to hold it into its place.

Some glyphs have conditions to fulfill, for example having 25 Dexterity or more in a specific region on the Paragon Board. Some also require a certain number of Primary Stat nodes to activate and can be a challenge to attain. Certain glyphs also have a radius, which increases as you level it up.
Glyphs are used for a wide variety of items, and can be added to any weapon, except for the weapons of a particular class. Some of these glyphs require conditions for instance, having a certain number of Dexterity or Attack damage in a particular area on the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph increases the probability of preventing enemy attacks by 5percent. It also has a 15% chance to make the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
Some glyphs can also be applied to restricted use tools, like the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. Adding these glyphs will contribute to the Combat Mechanic achievement.
The most commonly used glyphs are the attack glyphs which increase the ATK substats of Artifacts by a flat amount. These glyphs are especially useful for classes that rely on weapons with a range, such as Warriors or Rogues. The Exploit Glyph renders enemies who hit the Hero vulnerable to damaging effects.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are tokens that are used to reroll one of the results rolled while taking an Action. When the reroll happens the tokens are then discarded. Reroll tokens can be obtained in a variety of ways, such as through the dungeons, raids, and skirmishes. They can also be purchased in the store or from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons and trials, since they allow players to roll the rewards from the chest at the end.
For items that are at level 1, there are recycling points. The upgrade gauge will grow by a certain number of points when you recycle an item. This is based on both the item's rarity and level. In addition the upgraded item will not keep its level when it is rerolled and the cost of recycling an upgraded item goes up with the level of the item.
The player can also use reroll tokens in order to reroll an item. However it will not restore the item's original stats or level. This is a great option for players who want to reroll an item they aren't happy with but still would like to keep it in their collection.
Three different types of upgrade coins are available in the game: reroll, randomly generated, and upgrade. Each type comes with a couple of subtypes. For example, reroll tokens are available in three levels: enhanced, rare and legendary. Each requires an item of the level of its respective to make the new item with that quality.
To use reroll tokens, right-click on the Satanic or Angelic item in inventory and select "Reroll Token". Select the type of token. The tokens that are available are Item Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns and Focus. Utilizing an Item token will create a new Item of any kind. Using item upgrade or Misc token will result in a new weapon from the same faction.
The item can be upgraded to a different item with similar stats, but at a higher level. This will occur when the item is in the Pool that cannot be dropped or was transferred to it as part of an Franchise Card.
