The Item Upgrader in World of Warcraft
The War Within introduced two gear upgrade currencies: Valorstones and Harbinger Crests. These currencies can be exchanged at the NPCs for upgrading items, Cuzolth and Vaskarn.
Each item can be upgraded to the highest level for a given slot once. Upgrades to that slot are then cheaper afterward. The pity system, introduced with The War Within, also lowers the extreme upgrade variance.
Upgrades
Upgrades are parts that enhance performance or add new functions. Upgrades can be earned or purchased in many ways including through in-game events or cash shop items.
Upgrades are only available to specific items. In contrast to enchantments that can be added to anything they can only be applied to the item they are attached to. A weapon that is already equipped cannot be upgraded. Certain items can be upgraded more than once, providing a greater benefit to the user.
The mechanic of upgrades is relatively new. It was introduced in patch 4.1.0. The upgrade system allows the player to make additional improvements to their equipment to increase it's strength. This can range from simple strength boosts to massive damage and defence increases. The upgrades are split into tracks, and each has a limit on the amount of upgrade that can be performed. The limits are in place to stop players from flooding low-keystone dungeons in search of equipment, only to upgrade it all the way up.
Weapons, armor and consumables are all upgradeable gear. The majority of gear is upgraded as it is dropped, though certain items (such as Ornn's gear, or the infant Dracolich pet) cannot be upgraded. Gear can be upgraded by purchasing an upgrade recipe from a vendor and then combining it with the item in the appropriate upgrade slot. One can check the number of upgrades a piece of gear can be upgraded by looking at its inventory icon or by searching for that item in the shop.
The upgrade system has two major drawbacks. The second is that it can be difficult to determine what items are upgradeable since the upgrade vendors don't always show all of them. Additionally, the upgrade textures are rendered above the item model which can obscure enchantment glint and other details.
Another disadvantage is that upgrades are costly. Each step in a gear's degree of upgrade costs a certain amount of Valorstones or crests depending on the slot and level. Weapons, for instance require more Valorstones and crests to upgrade. There are however, some cash shop items that can reduce the cost of upgrading.
Recycles
In the wake of a growing awareness of how single-use products and inefficient habits contribute to environmental degradation many people are shifting their shopping habits. Some people buy high-quality items that last longer or reuse their old gadgets to find a solution. Some people prioritize recycled products and look for the highest recycled content when making purchases. This trend should help reduce the amount of resources needed to extract and manufacture new materials, and create a sustainable world.
Recycling is an integral element of this process and it's now much more accessible to consumers. Many items, such as furniture and paper, are made of recycled material. This means they're made from reused or discarded material, and it's easy to purchase recycled items on the internet or in the stores. In addition to helping the environment, these products are often more affordable than their counterparts.
When an item is upgraded it will be rewarded with additional bonuses along with its improved stat. These bonuses differ based on the item's tier, and can be of different types. The higher the tier, the more bonuses you can expect.
As the world economy shifts from extracting resources to reusing and recycling more companies are committing to create greener products. Many are focusing their efforts on recycling materials and providing incentives to customers who recycle their products. As the demand for sustainable products increases it is likely that we will see more recycled products in shops and on the shelves.
Rerolls
Rerolling is an essential tool in Genshin Impact, or any other gacha game. It lets players re-try their chances of getting the specific weapon or character they prefer to have for aesthetic reasons or simply because they think that it will fit on their team.
Rerolls allow players to reroll the items that are available for the current wave in exchange for a small amount materials. The prices of these weapons rise depending on the number of rerolls in a row, but certain items might not be available at all (for instance, a melee weapon is not available to players who are only able to use weapons that are ranged).
When an item is upgraded, it moves into the Staple Pool and gains extra bonuses. These bonuses are based on what type of item it is. For example, an upgrade which boosts the main stat of a weapon will also boost its additional stat. upgrade item can also change if the item is rerolled.
When a player is in enough stamina to perform a reroll they can press a button with circular arrows to swap their existing item for another one. The new item will be of the same level, but with a different set of extra bonuses, based on if the original item was a sword, gun, watch or book.
Rerolling doesn't reset an item's current bonus levels, but a player may still be required to meet minimum requirements for stats to qualify for the special ability. This can make it challenging to obtain an item of high-level that offers the amount of bonus they want but it also allows players to look for a different option in the future without having to invest more resources.
The item will be awarded an upgrade to tier and will ensure that it will get a certain amount of stats in the future. It is essential to only upgrade your gear as much as you can, as any additional upgrades won't change the outcome.
Sets

A set is a set of objects that are linked by a property. They are commonly used in the area of mathematics and are represented using a notation like . Sets possess a variety of important properties, such as the commutative and associative properties. These properties are crucial to understand how sets function and have real-world applications.
Sets of items can be upgraded to get additional bonuses in the game. A set of armor pieces can boost the protection of the armour while weapons can offer additional damage base. These additional stats are applied after the base stats of the item, but before the flats and percentages. These additional stats are a great way to add value.
When upgrading an item it will replace the base stat with the upgraded stat. For example an item with 20 base damage is now sporting 40 base damage. It will also keep the previous armor value and upgrade requirements. This is an excellent option to obtain a top-quality item at a lower cost.
Upgrades of exclusive items can be very profitable, particularly if they have an interesting mod. A rare belt with a +5 IAS for instance could have a significant impact on a build's strength especially in early hell. It's also a great method to increase the value of an item by injecting a high or perfect roll.
Item Upgraders operate differently for unique, set and rare items. When an item reaches level 10, it will typically be upgraded back to its base type. For example, an upgrade of an item that is unique and has an extremely high defense roll will result in an elite armored item that has the same base type. This is not a assurance, and in some instances, an upgrade might not change the item type.
It is recommended to upgrade your BiS (Best in Slot) and then move to non-BiS items. This will provide the player with an established base to build upon when they're trying to level up. They can then focus on increasing tiers and gaining additional stats.
